Our Story

More than eight decades of experience, people and proudly Namibian production.

From our roots in Walvis Bay to the homes and markets we serve today, Etosha Fishing has grown through generations of knowledge, hard work and commitment to quality.

Proudly Namibian.
Built on Generations.

Established in the 1940s, Etosha Fishing has grown alongside Namibia’s fishing industry.

Based in Walvis Bay and majority Namibian-owned, we are part of a proud local industry that supports jobs, skills, food production and economic value.

Over the years, our business has evolved, but our purpose remains simple: to produce quality canned seafood that offers real value and practical nutrition.

Today, Etosha Fishing continues to serve Namibian families while building for future markets and opportunities.

Long-Term Commitment

Building a business that can continue contributing to Namibia for generations to come.

Made Here. By Namibians.
For Namibia.

Etosha Fishing is proudly rooted in Walvis Bay and in the people who make our work possible.

As a majority Namibian-owned business, our contribution goes beyond the products we produce.

We support local employment, skills development, local value creation and food production while remaining part of an industry that has played an important role in Namibia for generations.

Being proudly Namibian is not simply part of our identity.

It is part of how we work.

Stronger Communities. Stronger Together.

We believe that being part of Namibia also means supporting the communities around us.

Etosha Fishing contributes to organisations and initiatives that help nourish, educate and support people where assistance is needed.

Our community involvement includes feeding initiatives, local organisations and partnerships that help make a practical difference.

Promiseland is one example of this work, but our commitment to community extends beyond a single organisation.

Goodness From Our Sea

From our people and our factory to families across Namibia, Etosha Fishing continues to build on generations of experience.
